Hello there!
So it's been awhile, again! I have been so crazy lately I haven't had time to think!
First things first! We did not get to take our trip to Aruba, sadly. We did, however, go to Chicago for four days, then up to Mackinaw City for 3 days! It was quite a change from our original plans, however we had just as much fun just being with each other.
The reason we had to nix Aruba is because I'm PREGNANT!! We are so very excited and cannot wait. I am currently 15 weeks and 3 days and we are due on March 13, 2009! It's Friday the 13th too, how cool! We will be able to find out the gender in the beginning of November.
My Mary Kay business is doing great! September has been one of my best months thus far. We are getting into the holiday season so I hope sales will continue to grow! I am also working for HMS again, just doing postcards. It keeps me busy during the week and it brings in a little extra cash. I've already paid off my student loan with the money I've made from HMS and Mary Kay. How great is that!
We are in the best season of the year right now. Sure I'm talking about Fall, I'm also talking about FOOTBALL!! I'm only doing two leagues this year and I'm doing well in one and not so well in the other. That's okay though because it's only week 3! We have quite a ways to go!
Well, that's it for now. The Monday night game is about to start and I need LT to score me some major points, even if he is hurt! Talk to you all soon!

Week 1: Weight Loss
Hey everyone!
My weight loss for the first week doing weight watchers is 2 lbs!! It's not much, but it's definitely a start and better than nothing! I have an overall weight loss goal of 40 lbs but I'm taking it one step at a time and I know it won't all come off at once! Wish me luck! I know I can do this!

It's been a while.....
I know, I know.....it's been an entire month since I've posted anything! Here's my update!
Mike and I had a great time while he was on vacation! We spent a lot of money and did a lot of work around the house. We put in a new patio, bought some patio type furniture, and bought a few flowers to pretty things up around here. We also had to put in a new drain pipe from our house out to the yard and dig a huge hole for the water to go in. Mike did all the work and it was fun to watch!
We hosted two parties. The first was quite small, it was supposed to be our housewarming but everyone we invited couldn't make it. I think a total of four people came over so we just had a small BBQ and bonfire. It was fun, we even met our neighbors with the big dogs that I don't like! Our second party was a family Fourth of July BBQ. It was really nice having my brother and Grandparents make it out here. I know it was a long drive for them! We had another bonfire that night and the neighbor came over again! He is part Indian so he brought a drum over and we were singing Indian songs. It was actually really interesting and fun! I learned quite a bit about the Indians and their culture.
As always, all good things must come to an end! Mike went back to work on the 7th and has already put in enough work for two weeks. I really hate that has to work so much. We are lucky he has a job and that he gets paid overtime, but there has to be a line drawn somewhere! I'm back to working my Mary Kay business and trying to book some parties. I really do enjoy doing this kind of work and I really love the product.
I get to start tanning next week so I don't get fried when we go to Aruba, which I so can't wait for. I also started weight watchers this week so I hope that works out well for me! I'll post my weight loss weekly! I guess that's it for now. I'm by myself tonight so I'm just going to watch whatever boring movies are on TV.

AHHHHH It's Friday the 13th!!
No, I'm not really superstitious, it just sounded like a good title. I had a really great day despite my Stampin' Up stuff not arriving today. Maybe it will come Monday and I'll have a couple days to be crafty before Mike is home for TWO WHOLE weeks on vacation!
We were blessed in my neck of the woods not having to deal with the storms today. It's weird because the nearest town that's like 15 miles or so away got hit terrible! Thank goodness however that nobody got hurt- I have yet to hear otherwise.
It was a sad day in politics when the news that Tim Russert had passed away was broadcast on most TV networks. I'm not much into politics, mainly because it all infuriates me, however I always listened to what Tim had to say. He always made the most sense! Rest In Peace!
We finally scheduled our house warming barbeque only to possibly have to turn around and cancel it. There might be a whole ten people that show up. We'll probably just turn it into a good ole fashioned barbeque and bonfire with lots of beer! We like to live like rednecks here and there, it's not so terrible!
I'm off to finish a book I just started this morning before I head off to bed. I'm going to my niece's T-Ball game tomorrow morning while Mike is at work. I may even go to the movies with Robin and my Mother-in-Law to see The Happening, we'll see, I hate to butt into a mother - daughter event. If I don't do that, I'll just go shopping!
Night ya'll!

Busy Busy Day
Woo Hoo!! I finally put the deposit down for our Honeymoon to Aruba. We are just so excited, we can't wait! We are staying 7 whole nights and plan to have my mom watch Lexis while we're gone.
We also planned our house warming/barbeque for the end of the month. We're not sure how many people will make it because the Fourth of July is the following weekend but we'll make the most of it! It's just so hard to plan anything with Mike's work schedule.
Our garden is looking really great. After losing about 80% of it when we had the two nights of frost, we replanted and it's looking great! We just hope the deer will stay out of it, there were already tracks in it tonight. I told Lexis she wasn't doing her job very well!
Hopefully I get my Stampin' Up order in the mail tomorrow so I can get to making more cards and do some more scrapbooking! I just can't wait! I'm also looking foward to getting my latest Mary Kay order in. Their new mineral colors are so gorgeous I can't wait to try them out! The subtle tanning lotion is also great! I've been using it on my legs and it looks really good, I am quite impressed. If you want to try anything from Mary Kay let me know! I can get samples of just about everything, just ask!!
Now I'm off to relax and enjoy the rest of the evening!

So Much Fun!
What an awesome day! First, HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my big sister Bonnie. She turned the big 3-0 today! She lives in Arizona and said she wasn't going to do anything except lay by the pool. Sounds like a perfect plan to me!
The Detroit Red Wings of course won the cup, just like I said they would, so the big parade was held today. I saw some on TV and heard some on the Radio. I'm not a big fan of parades so I guess it was just "okay" for me.
The best part of my day was hanging out with Katrina, Kristin, Jackie, and Mary Eileen for dinner at On the Border, then to Twelve Oaks. My stupid sunglasses decided to break on me and they were all willing to go to the mall to help me find new ones, what an awesome group of friends. I found the perfect pair, although my face is crooked, they'll work! I miss hanging out with them. We always used to get together at least once a month for something or other, and now it's once every few months. I need to steal one of them to go to the mall with me to buy clothes for vacation. They always look so cute and I just can't buy the right kind of clothes. I have NO fashion sense whatsoever!
I'm home now and I need to get to bed! I am going to my niece's first ball game tomorrow morning so I have to be up at 6:30....that's a little early for me! Have a great weekend everyone!

We want Lord Stanley!
Let's go Wings!
I stayed up like everyone else on Monday night just to go to bed disappointed. Tonight's the night, the Detroit Red Wings will win the cup, I can feel it! My poor hubby won't be watching tonight as he has to be up at 2:00 a.m. for yet another 12 hour workday, 14 if you factor in two hours of driving. I'm recording it for him, however we all know that just isn't the same.
I'm so excited about our upcoming vacation! We didn't get to go on our honeymoon because of buying the house and my back issues. We are in the process of booking our honeymoon to ARUBA!! I cannot wait, you just have no idea.
That's it for today! Let's Go Wings!!

My First Post
My life is extremely boring. Quite a contradiction to the name of my blog! I like to share the exciting things in my life with everyone, as simple as those exciting things might be, so I decided to do it through a blog. I hope you enjoy my simple pleasures!
